Steven L. Marchbanks

Steven Marchbanks is the founder and principal counsel of Premier Legal Center, APC. Licensed in California since 2001, he has built his practice around consumer protection law. Throughout his career, Steven has built a reputation for tackling complex cases head-on, championing the rights of everyday consumers, and holding some of the country's largest manufacturers accountable.

His clients know him as someone who fights hard and genuinely cares about the outcome of every case. His team knows him as an exceptional leader, one who leads with integrity, invests in the people around him, and creates an environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to do their best work.

Outside the office, Steven lives life to the fullest. Whether he is exploring a new destination with his family, soaking up the coastline along La Jolla Shores, or staying active outdoors, he brings the same energy and enthusiasm to his personal life that he brings to every case. And no matter where he is, you can count on a well-timed dad joke making an appearance along the way.

Jermina Landstrom

Jermina Landstrom is an attorney at Premier Legal Center, APC, where she focuses her practice on civil litigation. With more than a decade of experience advocating for consumers, Jermina brings both strategic insight and practical litigation experience to her work.

Jermina began her legal career with Premier Legal Center in 2015 as an associate attorney and transitioned to her current role as Of Counsel in 2023. Her work has included numerous successful resolutions in complex consumer protection cases, including her involvement in the landmark Volkswagen emissions scandal litigation, one of the most significant automotive consumer cases in recent history.

She earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. Jermina is admitted to practice in the State of California and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.

Samantha Marcus

Samantha Marcus brings fresh energy and a bright perspective to the Premier Legal Center team. As our Social Media Specialist and Intake Legal Assistant, she is often the first friendly voice clients encounter, and from that very first interaction, she sets the tone for the warmth and professionalism this firm is known for.

Having recently graduated from college and already over a year in with the firm, Samantha has proven that great talent does not wait around. She hit the ground running from day one, absorbing everything around her with remarkable speed and showing up with enthusiasm that strengthens the entire team. Her creativity, quick mind, and genuine dedication make her a natural fit for a firm that leads with heart.

Annalisa Durfee

Annalisa Durfee is a welcome addition to the Premier Legal Center family. Fluent in English and Spanish, she works closely with the team, supporting the day-to-day operations of the firm with a professionalism and dedication that you would never guess comes from someone stepping into the legal world for the very first time.

Born and raised right here in San Diego, Annalisa has deep roots in the community. There is something special about someone who genuinely loves where they come from, and that local pride shows up in the care and authenticity she brings to her work every day.
